A low carb version of a family favorite - Mississippi Roast!

Faux Au Jus

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Faux Ranch Mix

  • 1 tsp buttermilk powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dill weed
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt


  1. Blend each of the mixture's ingredients together.

    Sear the roast on all sides then place into crock pot. 

    Place the ranch powder over the roast and pour the Au Jus around it.

     Add 1 stick of butter atop the roast and place a few pepperoncini peppers around it.

     Cook 6 to 8 hrs on low. Enjoy!
